The National Park Service is offering 4 more free days at more than 100 national parks (to see a list, click here) this summer. To make the deal even sweeter, many parks are offering freebies and giveaways on everything from commemorative photos to kids water bottles. They are also offer discounts on dining, lodging, boat rental and more. They are really focused on family fun!

My kids, my Mom and I went to the last free day at Rocky Mountain National Park and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds and abundance of wild life. I was also pleased to learn that they have a free park and ride shuttle service now. How great is that? No one has to miss out on the spectacular beauty and glimpses of nature because of focusing on the winding roads. Nice!
