There is an annual tradition in my home that makes us all shiver with delight! Every 7/11 we go to 7-11 and get our FREE Slurpee! It started as a short stroll on flagstone sidewalks to the corner store when my son was still in a stroller and we lived in the heart of the city. Now it requires piling everyone into the mini van to drive to the closest location from our suburban dwelling. The journey is different, but the reward is the same: a family memory in the making.
